Case Study
G.A. Wintzer Improves Reliability
With On-Site Power

G.A. Wintzer & Son Co. is a family-owned and operated company that specializes in the purchase and removal of used cooking oil, meat scraps and animal co-products from small restaurants, large restaurant chains, butcher shops, food processing facilities and large commercial food manufacturers. They prevent these materials from reaching our nation’s already overcrowded landfills and recycle them back into usable products that feed livestock or even power vehicles.
e2Companies is installing a 4,000 kW (4MW) R3Di® system at the G.A Wintzer manufacturing facility in Wapakoneta OH. This will solve for power quality issues by stabilizing the frequency and voltage of G.A. Wintzer’s manufacturing equipment. The inconsistent power quality delivered by public utility has previously caused tens of thousands of dollars in damages to sensitive and expensive equipment.
This R3Di® system will solve power quality issues for G.A. Wintzer, while also supporting grid health, reducing the load on the power grid in times of peak demand. It will be monitored for optimal performance by e2Companies’ Grove, the operational hub for managing power needs 24 x 7 x 365.
