e2 is founded in Peoria, IL and starts R&D and engineering work on new emissions systems for Tier IV diesel generators.

e2 begins R&D based on RICE NESHAP, catalytic converters that customizable for each customer and compliant with new emission standards.

The development and launch of remote field monitoring system for our customers. The first generation precursor to today’s Grove.

Invention of the Modular Tubular Exhaust System.

The original concept for an energy storage system paired with a genset is designed. The 500kW gas and lithium load (GaLL) – 1st generation precursor to today’s R3Di® system.
