Redefine energy resilience and reliability

Our power grid is overextended and already on borrowed time, and the age of electrification is adding more risk to the centralized design of utilities. They simply can’t keep up with electric demand, and more organizations are recognizing the advantages of distributed energy resources to improve power reliability and power quality while optimizing energy costs.

While traditional solutions require an extensive implementation process, our patented R3Di® system is a self-contained, turnkey power platform installed without requiring an interconnection agreement or costly public utility upgrades.

A utility-grade, onsite power generation system, it’s capable of providing instantaneous full-load pickup and is also capable of sustaining power during long-duration outages.

Resilient

Full conditioned power with continuous grid forming on-site.

Reliable

Redundant operating system with no single point of failure.

Responsive

Sets new standards in power density load factor and transient response.

Ready

ETL certified to UL 9540; integrates lithium iron phosphate battery.

How can R3Di® benefit your company?

The R3Di® System can replace or supplement existing uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems or on-site backup generators. It also pairs seamlessly with existing on-site renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind, and supports EV charging.

With the R3Di®, you can:

Enhance reliability

Enhance-Reliability

Two of out five companies experience power loss every month, according to a recent survey in the S&C State of Commercial Power Reliability Report, and even momentary outages can cause operational delays as critical systems restart. Most back-up power generators are not instantaneous or built to withstand long-duration outages. The R3Di® is built for both speed and endurance. It switches on instantaneously during momentary outages or emergencies. With no-interruption, its battery energy storage system (BESS) carries full load up to 20 minutes, allowing the paired generator to come online. The generator then can run continuously to provide reliable power during severe weather events or serve as your primary power source.

Reframe the possibilities

Reframe the Possibilities

Designed to run prime, the R3Di® sets new standards in power; load factor 1.0, instant power for NFPA, and establishes a new benchmark for transient response in the industry.

Improve power quality

ImprovePower

It’s common for companies to experience disruptive drops or surges in power, especially if they are far from the source where electricity is generated. The R3Di® has been independently verified to even out these voltage sags and spikes, delivering a smooth, consistent output of conditioned power.

Increase reliability of renewable energy

Increase reliance on renewable energy

The R3Di® integrates with on-site renewable energy sources, firming their output with additional power as needed and allowing you to reduce reliance on the grid during peak times.

Charge electric vehicles faster

Charge electric vehicles faster

By the end of the decade, more than half of all vehicles will be electric, and we’ll need millions more chargers to keep them on the road. The R3Di® supports DC Fast EV Charging (DCFC), reducing charge wait times and energy costs.

Reduce carbon emissions

Reduce carbon emissions

With the R3Di®, you can take advantage of renewable energy sources without compromising reliability. Our team can work with you to identify, contract and manage renewable energy projects or negotiate power purchase agreements for greater flexibility without upfront capital costs.

We can also help you define realistic ESG goals and measure progress so you see a return on your investment not only for your company, but for society.

How the R3Di® works

The R3Di® is a self-contained unit consisting of a prime-rated, rich-burn natural gas generator and an energy storage system which provides up to 1 MW of power, or enough power for about 100 households. Its double conversion inverter system provides continuous power conditioning and uninterruptible power transfer, while its lithium iron phosphate battery chemistry offers higher energy density.
